What next? A $150K toilet? Aren't these the kinds of lavish excesses that helped bring AIG down?

(I can't afford carbon fiber or burl wood.)

Speaking of AIG....

How about all these top execs getting their bonus money even after running the company into the ground? How does that sit with you guys?

And here is another question.... Who in the hell wrote these contracts to stipulate they would be getting a bonus? I mean did the person whom agreed to these contracts figure giving away rediculous amounts of bonus money would keep them on their toes? It would seem to me that in giving them a guaranteed bonus they would become lazy, and why not? They are guaranteed a bonus, what the hell do they care!?

I am really starting to think this was all pre-planned. The republicans raise gas prices, the Demoncrats raise food and tobacco prices, meanwhile the guys with all the money are sitting back laughing because to them its a win-win. Just let the prices soar, blame it on a party, anything to keep the truth about the two party system scam under wraps. While the Repubs are complaining about the Dems and vise versa, these companies are free to pull the biggest scams in HISTORY.... On our dime!

Obama needs to go, AIG needs to go, All these banks that cant hack it need to go. The Big Three are the only ones we should be helping out because they have the ability to pay it back over time. These other companies are just fronts for some MAJOR scams.

You do realize that is was GW Bush who implemented the AIG bailout, right? Not Obama, Bush. This isn't the Obama bailout, it is the Bush bailout, which Obama has committed to. What does that tell us?

I see.  You're suggesting that Obama approached Bush prior to change of watch and said something akin to "Do me a small, Brah.  Since I will have SO much to deal with immediately after taking office, how's about getting a jumpstart on this bailout plan of mine for the banks?"

Hey.  It coulda gone down like that, right?

Rock, chalk!

Yes I am aware that Bush injected "Some" money into AIG and other companies before he left office, however you know how them Repubs just love setting up the Democrats. Bush had a hard road after Clinton and his game of "Hey everyone focus on my oval office BJ". I think Clinton did that on purpose to draw eyes off his little "Black Hawk Down" war that he didnt want public. Of course the people Clinton pissed off with that little stunt decided to run some planes into some NYC buildings. And thru history what group favored the Airplane as a means of terror? The Arabs maybe?

I guess I was in rant mode earlier, and I myself may be a little guilty of Hi-Jacking someones thread.
