Driveshaft is suddenly too short!
« on: February 19, 2011, 01:49:54 PM »
I pulled my driveshaft out to replace the flex joints. Upon re installation it comes up one half inch too short even after fully extending it approximately 2 inches at the slip joint. What happened? Did the car stretch? Did the eng/trans move half inch forward or did the shaft shrink? I don't see the engine having moved at all! :-[ :-[
