hi all new to this forum, hoping to get some help
with my problem, my universal joint is badly worn
and i need to replace it, mercedes don't have them
anymore, just as well as they want you to buy the
whole lot, shafts front to back, someone must have had
this and got around it another way, in most old cars it's
a half hours work to replace, just by the universal joint
and bigo fixt, does someone know the size of the uni or
one that fits? hope someone can help me with this thanks.

Universal joints have never been available from Mercedes. Best to find a good used or reman unit. I assume that rebuilders replace the u-joint, but darned if I know where they get them.

most cars i've had you could change it in no time.
