Hello All,

Thinking of buying a 1979 450SL to use as a daily driver for the summer. Found a black one with red interior and 57,000 miles. Never owned a MB before. Am I crazy? Concerened about reliability and repair costs. Any guidance/comfort would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sounds like a sweet ride, but a daily driver? In Massachusetts? That may be a bit optimistic. In any case, they are solid, reliable machines to such an extent that any 30 y/o automobile can be.
