Mercedes 190E 89 2.6 This car is driving me nuts it had alway ran good then it stall out on the hi way like it was out of gas it took me about 2 months to find out it was a bad wire from the ign sw to the ovp ok got it fix now it start and run for about 10 min then stall out I replace the Temp sensor, Ovp. Fuel pump relay Clean EHV, Fuel filter ,Fuel Pressure Regulator,ICV. nothing is helping what next ?

Just replacing parts ain't gonna cut it!
1. You need to do a fuel pressure test
2. Check current to EHA
3. Test Lambda and set the duty cycle
4. test vacuum (not just leaks but stability)
5. Test the fuel pump relay
6. Check your fuel pump and filter
The list can go, but you need to do some labor rather than replacing parts and then hope for the best. Get the technical manual for the car so you will know what the specs are.

Can anyone tell me where I can locate the MAF on a 93 2.3 190E? I took off air filter, took off bottom plastic piece of air filter. I have cleaner ready. No residue, electronic cleaner. Thanks
GermanStar:
The car does not have one.
