123 300TD Wagon Suspension Question

I've purchased a 1984 European 300TD Wagon. The rear suspension is not working, but the issue looks simple. There is a leveler/actuator in the rear with a ball and socket. The socket is missing, there's just a metal ring where it should be. What part is this ?
