Power pull down for trunk

Hi,

I have a 2001 S500 and have been dealing trunk issues.
The dealer is ready to charge me $959 for a vacuum pump(power closing) for the trunk.  I did find one on-line for much cheaper.  Does anyone know where this part is located and if it is easy to replace?

I just joined this site. Are you still having the issue with the power pull down of your trunk?
