I am needing to replace my crank position sensor.  The part number I got from the dealer is 002-153-91-28.  This is a very expensive part.  Trying to find a part that will interchange and save some money.  Part number 002-153-92-28 looks the same other than the part that goes into the motor.  On one it is black plastic and the other it is shiny metal.  Anybody know if these parts will interchange?  It would cost less than half the price.  The second one shows to fit  1992 and 1993 on the 300SE with 3.2 engine and 1988-1992 on the 300SE with 3.0 engine.  My car is the 1988 300SE with the 3.0 engine.  Thanks in advance for your help.
