Hi...I have a 1988 300TE that likes to stall whenever I come to a stop (unless I brake and throttle at the same time). Used to start right up...now struggles...and terrible mileage! Thanks Mik.
I have 1993 300e 3.2 base MB, for many years I had the same problem. My mechanic ( not a MB specalist) was lost with the problem. Every time had to stop I had a good chance to stall. Used to start up ,than took longer and longer to start up. Here is the thing I did 4 years back and never stalled again. Behind the buttery there are number of relays. One of the green color relay I think it was the Overload protection relay with a fuse attached to the top of the relay. The fuse (#15) was broken . Replaced the fuse from my spare and my stalling problems was over ever since. Few days latter I replaced the relay also ,less than $50 at that time. I hope this will help you.
